Château de Grandmont

A beautiful residence set in magnificent wooded grounds with a swimming pool. The spacious rooms are extremely comfortable. We highly recommend the Château de Grandmont, with its excellent facilities, as a place to recharge your batteries and as a base from which to explore the magnificent Beaujolais region, its cuisine and its fine wines. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfasts. The warm welcome from Sandrine and Franck, along with their suggestions for places to visit, helped make our stay a real success under the sunshine of the 1 May weekend!

We stopped off here. We were delighted with the location and everything else. The hostess was extremely friendly and went out of her way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We’d definitely come back.

We were treated like royalty by our attentive and dedicated hosts in a setting that was strikingly romantic, peaceful and beautiful. Both the house and the garden are immaculately maintained, and the welcome is warm. The bedroom and bathroom are equally lovely. A wonderful getaway just 30 minutes from Lyon.

We were greeted with a very warm welcome and a wonderful tour where we received an abundance of information about our stay at the Château. Our rooms were very comfortable and we used the swimming pool while relaxing and enjoying the serenity and sunset. The host was friendly and attentive. Breakfast included wonderful fresh figs and home produced honey! We would highly recommend.

There’s a large swimming pool, which we didn’t use as we arrived quite late.

On arrival at Château de Grandmont: a very warm welcome, a magnificent house and a sumptuous garden. Our host recommended a very good restaurant (Le Bistronome in Villefranche).

A lovely, newly opened holiday cottage. A beautiful château set in stunning wooded grounds, complete with a swimming pool. The rooms are very comfortable and wonderfully peaceful. Breakfast is served with homemade produce (jams and honey).
The owners are charming. They enjoy meeting people and are always happy to suggest places to visit or restaurants in the Beaujolais region. Highly recommended without a doubt!

If you’d like to stop off in a stunning region without straying too far from the A6 motorway, don’t hesitate! The guest rooms at Château de Grandmont are just the place for you.Franck and Sandrine offer a very warm yet unobtrusive welcome. The property is superb and spotlessly clean. Just a small suggestion regarding breakfast: it would be nice to be offered a few savoury options.

On our journey through the Beaujolais region in France, we came across this beautiful chambre d’hôtes.Nestled amongst the vineyards and surrounded by a huge garden with a magnificent swimming pool stands a historic, beautifully renovated former wine château.The location was perfect for exploring the Beaujolais wine route.Lyon is just under 30 km away.
The rooms and bathrooms are very spacious and have been renovated and furnished with great taste; the beds are large and comfortable.Breakfast was enjoyed (depending on the time) together with the other guests, which meant we kept meeting interesting people.There was everything you need for a good start to the day. The fresh croissants, the homemade jams and honey were simply unbeatable.Frank and Sandrine gave us a very warm welcome. Time and again, they provided us with information and tips for day trips and, above all, for good restaurants that we would never have found without them. Very, very warm hosts.We enjoyed everything so much that we extended our stay here by a few days. It’s also the perfect place to relax; we simply felt at home.We’d like to take this opportunity to thank them once again from the bottom of our hearts for their wonderful hospitality.
If anyone has anything to complain about, they’d be better off staying at home.
